Having discovered the Internet, Quarterdeck Corp, Santa Monica is rushing to bolster its new mission, and has acquired StarNine Technologies Inc for about 670,000 shares, which values the Berkeley, California-based developer of Internet server software and electronic mail products for the Apple Computer Inc Macintosh at about $13.4m.
