Pouring fuel on the flames, the San Francisco Chronicle reckons that Apple Computer Inc and AT&T Corp have discussed a possible takeover of Apple by AT&T, and while it is the policy of all the companies not to comment on market gossip, AT&T indicated that it was still on the look-out for such acquisitions.
