Ascom Holding AG announced yesterday that it had agreement to sell its cable television division for over $170m; the company says it now expects a net profit for the first half of 1994 and also for the full year; the Swiss telecommunications equipment company had previously forecast break-even for 1994 and a return to profits in 1995; it said it made unspecified profit before interest and taxes for the first quarter; new orders in the three core divisions were over budget.
