SAP has unveiled the 10.0 release of SAP BusinessObjects governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) offerings.

The new version has added new functionalities to efficiently integrate the offerings, including access control, process control, risk management, global trade, and SAP BusinessObjects Electronic Invoicing for Brazil functionality.

The 10.0 release encompasses BI reports and dashboards and includes a graphical tool to define and depict risks.

The new enchancements in the GRC release enables executives to integrate GRC activities into core business processes and applications, in managing businesses effectively.

SAP’s business analytics offerings will offer organisations access to unified aplications for business intelligence (BI), data warehousing, enterprise information management (EIM), enterprise performance management (EPM) and GRC as well as analytic applications.

The company said the new upgraded software helps organisations reduce the cost required to manage risk and compliance programmes, protect revenue streams, shareholder value and reputation, and optimise organisational performance and results.

Further, with more than 100 customer projects already underway with the 10.0 release, and many now going live including Levi Strauss & Company, Sharp Electronics and Zurich Financial Services; customer, analyst and partner reactions to the new offering are revealed to be positive.
