AT&T Corp on the one hand and Bell Atlantic Corp and Nynex Corp on the other say they have settled an antitrust action brought by the latter two against the AT&T-McCaw Cellular Communications Inc merger, and that while details of the settlement are confidential, AT&T has made several commitments to accelerate pursuit of open interfaces in its cellular network equipment.
