Search engine company Google is reportedly planning to offer a credit card kind of offering for those who advertise on its sites.

According to a Reuters report, the new offering by the search engine company is at present only for a special group of clients based in the US who can use it to buy search advertising.

The report says that Google is offering a competitive interest rate and no annual fee.

Recently social networking company Facebook hiked its advertising rates by over 70% following a surge in advertising on its site.

Micro-blogging site Twitter has also been working to offer a new technology to advertisers, which would help them to control ad content from anywhere in the world at anytime.

Google global online sales vice-president Claire Johnson told Reuters that the credit card is intended to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to run big ad campaigns when needed.

"They are resource-constrained and they are often cash flow-strapped. Many of them are trying to grow a business without the kind of means that, say, your classic company has," she said.
