Seattle, Washington-based maker of personal computer-based voice processing systems, Active Voice Corp has signed development and marketing deals with Philips Communications Systems BV of Eindhoven, the Netherlands and the Corporate Networks Group of NEC America Inc: Philips will integrate Active products into into its telephone systems and will also market Active Voice systems with its PABX and telephone key systems in 22 countries; with NEC, Active will develop a proprietary digital speech processing system for the Electra Professional telephone system that NEC will market as ElectraMail; NEC’s dealers US-wide will also market Active Voice’s Repartee, Replay, Replay Plus and TeLANophy.
