AT&T Co’s AT&T Network Systems International reports that it has now completed the first phase of a turnkey project to deliver voice and data communications to Murmansk, Russia: the company’s partner in the project is Sevtelecom, a joint venture company that serves as the network operator for Murmansk; the company adds vaguely that work on the second phase of the project, which is intended to extend the network to several cities south of Murmansk, will begin in the near future.
