The ImagiNation Network on-line service is offering a three- dimensional virtual reality environment with spatial sound immersion that enables it to see and join conversations as it wanders within visual earshot. In addition, it has high- resolution graphics, fully-animated characters, entertainment and information content and is scheduled to launch this summer. Cyber Park is designed like a city, with buildings and neighbourhoods that will house entertainment activities and games appealing to specific communities of interest. It will be staffed with animated characters including sorcerers, waiters, butlers and janitors that can be customized by individual players. Cyber Park will accommodate on-line visitors, who can gather and socialize simultaneously around entertainment content, bulletin boards and chat rooms.
