Kirkland, Washington-based Teledesic Corp, which is building a global, broadband internet-in-the-sky, has named two of the managers who will help design the Teledesic Network. Paul Estey has been named special project manager, responsible for development within the space infrastructure portion of the Teledesic Network. He was previously president and chief operating officer of American Rocket Co. Soheila Motamed has been appointed technical director of parts and processes, responsible for identifying and cultivating technologies that will meet Teledesic’s cost and schedule targets. She was previously the senior scientist in charge of microelectronics packaging operations for the Radar Systems & Communications Division of Hughes Aircraft Co.
