Shares in 3DO Co fell almost 20% to $12.375 yesterday after chairman Trip Hawkins was reported to be planning to invest $10m of his own money to support the company next year: the Wall Street Journal reported that Hawkins is also seeking $10m of capital from Goldstar Co Ltd and another $10m from a private placing to current partners soon.
