Multimedia authoring firm Aimtech Corp has joined an initiative to deliver multimedia training and authoring on demand over the Internet. The initiative will use IconAuthor to build an Internet based multimedia authoring environment for generating multimedia training courses so Internet users can create and receive training courses on the Internet. The project will start in 1996, at which time IconAuthor with Internet access will be finished, said the company. It will include HyperText Mark-up Language to enable course developers to access Internet resources.
