Fujitsu has launched its new docomo SMART series F-11C mobile phone.

At less than 16.6 mm thickness, the F-11C is a slim, water-resistant mobile phone, equipped with a 5.1 megapixel camera and business features such as business card reader..

The phone features a one-touch access button and incorporates advanced security capabilities, such as fingerprint sensor.

The support features for the camera includes a face recognition feature, a "Smile Finder," and automatic scene recognition.

The water-resistant phone comes with a business card reader and whiteboard photography mode.

The built-in business card reader recognises text information from business cards captured by the camera, and automatically inputs the data into the mobile address book, said the company.

The phone also allows for protection of designated information. In privacy mode the phone hides information about designated individuals or groups including call logs and e-mail. Secret messages are notified through the phone’s battery icon, said the company.

The F-11C weighs around 120 grams and comes in three colour options: Navy, Black and Gold.

The new phone is expected to be available in Japan from 30 June 2011.
