AT&T Corp and Apple Computer Inc have agreed to provide the latter’s QuickTime Conferencing technology over the WorldWorx Network Services. The agreement provides Macintosh users with access to other H.320 standards-based videoconferencing products over AT&T’s global network. The two companies are working together to provide speech, video and data conferencing and collaboration, both point-to-point and multipoint over local area networks and via dial-up services. Users will be able to benefit from Apple’s ease-of-use and multimedia features and have easy access to global communications services from AT&T.
