Quest Software, has introduced Quest Coexistence Manager for GroupWise, which provides direct coexistence between Novell GroupWise and Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010/Online, either as part of a migration, or to integrate disparate environments during an event such as a merger or acquisition.
The new tool, which scalable for environments of any size, provides free/busy lookups, ensures accurate calendar scheduling, and synchronise directories between platforms to mitigate the risk of disrupted messaging and collaboration between users.
Interoperability between GroupWise and Exchange (on-premises or hosted) including Microsoft Office 365 is allowed to enable organisations maintain productivity throughout a migration or coexistence period.
Quest Software senior director of product management Michael Tweddle said using Quest Coexistence Manager for GroupWise gives customers peace of mind, knowing that business productivity will be uninterrupted throughout the migration and coexistence period.
