Adaptive Solutions Inc, Beaverton, Oregon is still in great need of applications for its CNAPS parallel processing microprocessor, and it has gone all the way to France to take a stake in Mimetics SA, and an option to buy the rest of the company over the next two years. Terms were not disclosed, but under the deal, Mimetics SA will convert its optical character recognition software for the CNAPS microprocessor.
