AT&T TO PROVIDE ATM SWITCHES TO GTE TELEPHONE OPERATIONS

GTE Corp’s GTE Telephone Operations unit in Irving, Texas has settled on the Asynchronous Transfer Mode switches made by AT&T Corp’s Network Systems arm: AT&T is to provide it with a dozen GlobeView-2000 Broadband Systems for installation by September, for California, Texas, Oregon, Washington and Florida.
