AT&T Corp’s Lucent Technologies Inc has decided to turn most of its data processing operations over to IBM Corp’s Integrated Systems Solutions Co, which will take on as many as 3,000 employees as it takes over management of Lucent’s in-house computer systems – everything from desktop personal computers to mainframes. The value of the 10-year contract was not disclosed.
