Fujitsu has introduced new offerings under the Microsoft Hyper-V Cloud Fast Track program.
The company said that the new offerings make it easy to build private cloud environments based on the Microsoft Hyper-V Cloud architecture.
The offerings provide organisations, planning to implement a private cloud, with PRIMERGY servers, ETERNUS storage, networking equipment, and management software, all of which have been pre-qualified for Hyper-V and pre-configured.
Fujitsu’s PRIMERGY BX900 blade server system allows organisations to deploy their systems with one high-density blade server at a time while the flexible data safe scalability of ETERNUS storage system, enables users to have the ability to grow their overall systems exactly to their needs, said the company.
Microsoft Hyper-V Cloud Fast Track is a program in which Microsoft partners put together packages that include all of the elements needed to run a private cloud-based on the Microsoft Hyper-V Cloud Fast Track architecture.
Fujitsu’s offering using Hyper-V Cloud Fast Track combines its PRIMERGY BX900 blade server system, ETERNUS storage systems, ServerView Resource Orchestrator flexible resource management software, and the company’s know-how gained from building and operating cloud systems.
The new Fujitsu offering features: flexible, scalable private-cloud platform; and pre-tested combinations.
Microsoft Windows Server senior director Mike Schutz said the Hyper-V Cloud Fast Track program was designed to help simplify the deployment and operation of private clouds.
