Oyster Point, Virginia-based nView Corp has introduced two lines of projection equipment, both of which the company bills as the among the lightest and cheapest equipment available in today’s market. As with nView’s seven other product lines, the new equipment – projectors and a projection panel – uses liquid crystal displays. The nFinity Series is a line of portable projectors that can display images from computer and video sources. It weighs 19 lbs and costs $6,800 for a model that displays only computer information. A model that also displays video images costs $7,300. The liquid crystal display projection panel is called Presenter 101 and can link images from computer and video sources with a traditional overhead projector. This weighs 4.3 lbs and costs $2,800.
