Commenting on its figures, Storage Technology Corp says it has now shipped 150 Iceberg storage units, up from 100 in mid-June and we continue to ramp production rates. Our library and tape drive business remains solid and we are pleased with our continued penetration of this market, said Poppa.Some 8,000 36-track and 18-track units and upgrades shipped in the quarter, and NearNet storage manager support for Oracle and Sybase clients is planned.
