Cap Gemini Espana SA, the Spanish and Portuguese subsidiary of Cap Gemini Sogeti SA, has signed its biggest ever contract in the Iberian peninsula for a four-year commitment from Portugese insurer Compagnie Tranquilidade for applications management. Cap Gemini said the number one insurance company wants it to take over its applications while its own staff works on a new version of its information system. The facilities manager acknowledged that the contract was won due to a tight collaboration with Portuguese company Geslogica.
