NetPilot Internet Security (NIS) of Bristol has launched SoHoBlue, a standard internet security offering for small business organisations in the UK.
The new security offering provides a full range of protection for all the PCs on a small business network, automatically keeping itself fully updated with the latest countermeasures.
SoHoBlue provides Unified Threat Management (UTM) internet protection for all the small business’s PCs combined with an advanced firewall. This stops all forms of viruses, spyware and spam emails.
NIS company founder and director for sales Jamie Pushman said the company is unusual in the internet security market in being a UK company with everything including hardware and software — designed and built here locally.
"If our customers need to talk to us, this can be easily and conveniently achieved. Most competing companies are American and typically build their products in China. They tend to be both geographically and culturally remote from their UK customers. Staying close to our customers and their requirements is top of our agenda as SoHoBlue demonstrates," Pushman said.
The company said that the new SoHoBlue is available, while SoHoBlue Air with wireless connectivity will be available in June 2011.
