Alpha Microsystems Ltd has acquired Leicester-based Kathy Parker Training Centre Ltd, which offers training for personal computer software products such as 1-2-3, Microsoft Word, Excel and dBase IV, as part of its strategy to add services to its products portfolio: Alpha plans to expand the range of courses offered and provide them at its Maidenhead and Bolton training centres.
