The company hopes that its new offerings will help utilise and extend a customer’s existing IT investment while providing a cutting edge approach to help drive business success in the future.
The company said PowerConnect networking offerings enable enterprises to scale their fabric efficiently. Among the networking portfolio enhancements are: delivering advanced virtualisation capabilities and 10GbE flexibility in all slots of the PowerEdge M1000e chassis, expanding wireless connectivity, management and deployment; and enhancing the data centre edge with intelligent offerings.
PowerEdge M915 blade server balances performance and efficiency for mission-critical application workloads, said the company.
The Dell PowerEdge M915 is a full height four or two-socket AMD-based blade server that is ideal for running mission critical applications in data centres needing maximum I/O scalability and increased efficiency, flexibility, reliability and performance.
DX Object Storage Platform enhancements deliver new file capabilities to help customers store, access and protect fixed content, said the company.
The Dell DX Object Storage Platform is a comprehensive, integrated offering that helps customers intelligently access, store, protect and distribute fixed digital content.
Dell Networking vice-president and general manager Dario Zamarian said with ever-increasing user demands, enterprises are looking to manage growth by scaling bandwidth and delivering more virtualised services.
Zamarian said, "While complementing existing infrastructures, these new capabilities deliver seamless scalability and advanced virtualisation features for a more efficient fabric and improved operational efficiencies."
