Apple Computer Inc set out a four-point plan to simplify its US sales channel structure and improve the visibility of Apple products in stores and with resellers. It aims to give more support to resellers that carry mostly Apple products, make the sales channel more flexible, focus on specific markets and continue to simplify its product line because our current structure does not reward those in the channel who are strong advocates of Apple products nor does it encourage them to focus on the markets where Apple has a strong franchise and industry- leading solutions.
