Taipei-based Compeq Manufacturing Co Ltd – the confusing name hides a Taiwanese circuit board maker, is to increase capitalisation of its US subsidiary by $20m to $53m to cash in on an anticipated recovery in the US market; the company lost $8m on its Utah operations in 1993.
