The barriers to cheap international phone calls crumbled late on Monday when the ACC Global Corp arm of Rochester, New York-based ACC Corp received an International Simple Resale certificate from the US Federal Communications Commission for telephone service over leased lines between the US and UK.The Commission said four pending applications are for service between the US and the UK – two are for service to Australia, and two or three for service to Sweden. UK regulatory approval is expected shortly.
