Nasdaq-quoted Dutch software house Baan NV is to acquire Berclain Inc, a Canadian software firm specializing in invoice processing, in a share swap deal on undisclosed terms. The agreement will be complete when the remaining Berclain shareholders agree to the terms of a bid that Baan will make the Berclain shareholders in a few days.
