Infosys Technologies has reported revenues of INR72.50bn for the quarter ended 31 March 2011, an increase of 22% compared to INR59.44bn for the same period last year.
The company posted a gross profit of INR30.16bn, compared to previous year’s INR25.29bn and an operating profit of INR21.02bn, compared to INR17.89bn for the same period last year.
For the fourth quarter, the company posted a net profit of INR18.18bn, compared to INR16bn for the same period a year ago.
Financial services segment revenue increased to INR25.88bn from INR20.68bn, manufacturing segment revenue increased to INR14.79bn from INR11.99bn while telecom segment revenue dropped to INR8.59bn from INR9.09bn.
Retail segment revenue grew to INR10.52bn from INR7.71bn for the same period last year.
For the full year ended 31 March 2011, the company reported revenues of INR275.01bn compared to INR227.42bn last year. Gross profit for the year increased to INR115.85bn from INR97.22bn.
Operating profit was INR81.02bn, and net profit was INR69.1bn for the year.
In dollar terms, the company posted revenues of $6.1bn, compared to $4.8bn, while net profit was $1.5bn, compared to $1.3bn for the previous fiscal year.
