Hewlett-Packard Co is adding a wireless voice mail feature to its HP100LX palmtop computers: HP StarLink, a wireless messaging service that transmits voice, data and news updates to the 100LX palmtops, will be available on April 4 as a plug-in wireless PCMCIA card supplied by Motorola Inc, which will cost $230, plus monthly subscriptions of from $20 to $63 per month; news, sports and other services will cost more; partners in the new service include Paging Network Inc, Plano, Texas, serving as the wireless carrier; National Dispatch Center Inc of San Diego, which will route all messages; and Mobile Telecommunication Technologies Corp, which will be providing US-wide coverage via its Skytel satellite wireless service.
