ACER LAUNCH SYMMETRIC PENTIUM MACHINE

Acer (UK) Ltd has launched a symmetric multiprocessing Pentium machine and jazzed up its desktop and server families with 90MHz Pentium processors: the company says that it is shipping the Acer Altos 17000 SMP four-processor symmetric machine using 60MHz Pentiums, along with DX-4 and 90MHz Pentium versions of the AcerPower EISA and the Acer Altos 7000 machines.
