Hewlett-Packard Co has a new family of professional-quality color inkjet computer printers it says will be the first of their kind to sell for less than $800. The HP DeskJet 870C Professional Series printers offer fast printing in high quality black and color ink, along with the largest professional font collection available in a personal color printer, the company said. They deliver sharp black text at 600-by-600 dots per inch and prints in color at 600-by-300 dots per inch and are availabl e for Mac OS and Windows and are expected to go for a street price of around $500.
