It might be a good idea to start stocking up with memory chips now that South Korea is the single biggest source of the things: events in the Korean peninsular are beginning to unfold with a ghastly inevitability and with a weak administration in Washington, almost all the elements are in place for an attack by the North on the South and the only surprise is that the gathering crisis is not dominating the front pages – but the doughty South Koreans could very possibly soon have more pressing matters to attend to than making memory chips and a host of computer peripherals for the muddleheaded Western world.
