Allen Systems Group (ASG), a provider full range of practical software offerings, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire PS’Soft SAS, a provider of IT Asset and Service Management software.

Through this acquisition, ASG will strengthen its product strategy, designed to automate data centre operations and enhance customers’ ability to manage and deliver IT services critical to business processes.

In addition, the acquisition will add to its existing portfolio of data, operations and performance management capabilities within the EAMS (Enterprise Automation Management Suit) foundation technology, ASG said.

The PS’Soft SAS is a provider of IT Service Management Next Generation (ITSMNG) suite which includes: a Service Desk with incident, problem, change, configuration, release, service level and availability management processes.

Further, the PS’Soft’s Service Management, with its ability to manage the full lifecycle of IT services, complements ASG’s automated discovery, analytics, native dependency mapping and model-based approach that enables customers to manage service delivery end-to-end.
