Cyrix Corp, of Richardson Texas yesterday added three new versions of its 6×86 microprocessors, cheekily numbering them against the Pentiums they are claimed to match, rather than their clock speeds. The new parts are the 6×86-P133+, P150+ and P166+, clocked at 110MHz, 120MHz and 130MHz respectively. The 6×86-P133+ is $326, the 6×86-P150+ is $451 and they are in volume production now. The $621 6×86-P166+ is in limited production, with volume output promised to begin next quarter.
