Compaq Computer Corp won what is believed to be the first US jury verdict in a case attempting to link computer keyboards with Repetitive Strain Injury, but many such suits are pending, and lawyers say the decision will simply guide them in refining their presentations; at least three other cases against Compaq are pending in Houston, as are two cases filed against IBM Corp by airline reservation clerks.
