Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Bolt Beranek & Newman Inc’s BBN Systems & Technologies unit received a two-year $9.6m contract from Computing Devices Canada Ltd to develop communications switching software to be used by Computing Devices in the Canadian armed forces’ speech and data communications system that it is developing for the Canadian Department of National Defense.
