Dell Computer Corp is considering pre-loading Polish application software developed by Malkom, based in Warsaw, and Vadim, located in Zielona Gora, prior to shipping personal computers to Poland from its factory in Ireland. The plan mirrors an agreement Dell has already put in place with the Czech word processing and electronic mail software vendor, Software602. Dell marketing manager Michal Jaworski said Dell Poland trebled its revenues in Poland last year with 30 percent of its sales going via indirect channels. Mr Jaworski also announced that a contract signed with the Russian Federation’s Land Resources Agency last year could pave the way for orders to the value of some $30m.
