Apple Computer Inc has finally begun shipping the Macintosh Quadra 610 DOS Compatible, which adds MS-DOS- and Windows-compatibility to the basic Quadra: Apple said yesterday that the machine is available in the US and some international markets and costs $1,580 with 8Mb, 160Mb disk and Ethernet; the DOS Compatibility Card for Macintosh is now available for Quadra 610 and Centris 610 Mac owners at $400.
