Mahindra Satyam BPO, a business process outsourcing unit of Mahindra Satyam, has renewed contract for two-years with NAVTEQ, a provider of digital map data.
Under the agreement, Mahindra Satyam BPO provides geospatial software applications and modeling, and data support services to NAVTEQ.
NAVTEQ global production operations vice president Luther Siebert said Mahindra Satyam BPO has displayed initiative and enthusiasm to support the complex processes required in the creation and updates of NAVTEQ’s digital maps and they have played an important role in helping NAVTEQ provide geospatial services to their customers globally.
Mahindra Satyam BPO CEO Vijay Rangineni said the renewal of the contract for a further period of two years shows NAVTEQ’s confidence in their organisation.
"The renewal of the contract was a logical extension and we are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead of us, and are confident that our engagement with NAVTEQ will continue to be a strategic business relationship in the true sense of the term," Rangineni said.
