Compaq Computer Corp is expected to launch its first subnotebook computer, the Contura Aero, next week, PC Week reports: the box is code-named Shadow and is expected to sell for as little as $1,400 although the list price will likely be higher; it is said to weigh 3 lbs 14 oz with back-lit monochrome screen, a 25MHz 80486SL processor, 4Mb memory and a 120Mb Winchester.
