Avvasi, a provider of video traffic management offerings for fixed and mobile service providers, has partnered with Devoteam Group, a provider of telecommunications consultancy, solution integration and operations.

Under the agreement, Devoteam will add Avvasi Q-VUE, to provide video analytics and service assurance offerings to the European and Middle Eastern markets.

Avvasi Q-VUE product supports multiple offerings tailored for service providers with over-the-top video traffic, including the Video Analytics offering and the Video Service Assurance offering.

Avvasi Video Analytics offerings provide an array of video traffic analytics tools that enable service providers to monitor, store, collate and analyse data related to the video network traffic using an interactive user interface.

In addition, service providers can capture detailed information about the subscriber’s quality of experience (QoE) that helps them to manage customer relationships to reduce churn, troubleshoot network issues based on video QoE triggers.

The Avvasi offering is a scalable, passive measurement capability that reports video-based QoE and provides an analytics and assurance offering when combined with congestion awareness and the ability to break down video traffic by device, source, content, media format, media duration and network topology.

Devoteam group development telecom general manager Stephane Bret said unlike typical network probes that provide little or no useful business intelligence about video quality and usage trends, Avvasi’s offerings measure perceived video quality and provide unparalleled business intelligence by analysing video traffic by device, source, content, format, duration and network conditions.
