You’ll remember I wrote a blog recently saying that Sir Alan Sugar should fire himself from Amstrad, since the company is adrift financially and in desperate need of some new direction. Not a company you would want to work for, even less so if you had to face the embarrassment of a plethora of near-mindless tasks faced by the participants on The Apprentice just to make it to final interview.

Well, it seems Sir Alan is a big fan of CBR, telling the contestants in the latest episode of The Apprentice, “It’s getting to a stage now in my business career where it is time to start thinking about people to hand things over to. It’s time to start thinking who’s going to bring me some strategy, some new direction.”

I think what Sir Alan is trying to say, as far as the current state of Amstrad goes, he’s “cocked it up royal” as he would put it.
