Evernote is a mobile and desktop application that helps users take notes on the go and to organise and archive notes and calendars.

A note on Evernote can be anything. It can be text, a picture, a webpage, a voice memo, and even a handwritten note.

The application works with the major operating systems including Android, BlackBerry OS, iOS, OS X, Windows and Windows Mobile

How much does Evernote cost?

Evernote was created by the Evernote Corporation in 2008. It was founded by Russian entrepreneur Stepan Alexandrovich Pachikov.

Under the slogan “Your workspace for your life’s work”, the company has now between 250 to 500 employees on its books. Based in California, US, the company is headed by CEO Chris O’Neil.

The free version of the application allows for 60MB of uploads per month and can sync across two devices. The plus version, which costs £29.99 a year, allows for 1GB of new uploads per month and can sync across all devices.

The premium version costs £44.99 a year, allows for 10GB of new uploads per month, syncs across all devices and offers a number of additional features such as being able to annotate PDfs, scanning and digitizing business cards, and the ability to see related notes and content.
