Taiwanese phone maker HTC is reportedly launching two "Facebook phones" at the Mobile World Congress to be held next month.
Despite assertions by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg that the social networking site is not working on any such phone, media reports speculated that the Android phone would be branded like Facebook.
The phone based on cloud concept is likely to feature an Always-on GPS system to provide automatic "check-ins". The concept, incidentally, is in sync with the site’s "check-in" feature that helps users to share their location with their friends.
The site’s users can check in to a specific location by text messaging or by using a mobile application on a smartphone, a feature that the new Facebook phone is touted to have.
The phone is also expected to feature a ticker style short message notification system.
