Telerik, a provider of software application lifecycle and content management offerings, has launched new Sitefinity 4.0, a scalable Content Management System (CMS).
The new offering is designed to provide advanced workflow control for business process management and improved ease-of-use, generating considerable productivity gains.
The Sitefinity 4.0 is based on Microsoft’s ASP.NET and comes with an open, fluent, and fully exposed API for product extensibility and customisability.
The company said the Sitefinity 4.0 incorporates more than 100 ASP.NET AJAX and Silverlight UI controls from its RadControls developer productivity tools collection.
The Sitefinity 4.0 features include: enhanced workflow management capabilities and seamless Windows Workflow Foundation integration; improved widget controls layout and output modifications via the Widget Template Editor; and advanced facet and network taxonomies support.
The new offering enables Project Manager to streamline installation, deployment, and upgrade processes.
Telerik Sitefinity executive vice president Martin Kirov said by minimising complexities, while providing robust tools and innovative features addressing every aspect of the site building and management experience, Sitefinity 4.0 enables users to quickly, easily, and efficiently optimise their web presence.
