Collision Management Systems (CMS) has joined forces with Concirrus, a turnkey solutions provider, and Telenor Connexion to launch its eFNOL solution for the insurance industry.
CMS is integrating Concirrus’s telematics technology and Internet of Things platform with Telenor’s capabilities to provide real-time information for those handling claims.
As a result, the DriveGuard system will allow users to view the whole process of claims, reducing costs and exposure to fraud.
Charles Smith, CEO at CMS, said: "It is testament to the experience of the Concirrus team in the Internet of Things and telematics market that we have been able to deliver this solution to market quicker than we could have otherwise conceived.
"During our initial market testing there has been a great reaction from fleets, accident managers and insurers who see DriveGuard as the perfect tool to reduce their increasing claims costs."
Dean Woods, head of UK & Ireland for Telenor Connexion, added: "Core to the system is the cross-platform capabilities of the Telenor Connexion network to ensure that when an accident does occur, crucial information from the vehicle can always be retrieved in real-time…and it is applications such as these that clearly demonstrate the power of our network"
