IG Markets, a provider of Contract for Difference (CFD) along with indices, currencies, commodities and treasuries firm, has launched iPhone dealing app for trading clients.
According to the company, the new iPhone app offers clients with facilities including the ability to view prices on the full range of markets, place trades, obtain real-time charts and also breaking news headlines from Thomson Reuters.
At present the app is designed for UK clients only but will be rolled out to other territories in the coming months, the company said.
The users of new iPhone dealing application additional features include place CFD trades on the full IG Markets range of instruments, open and close positions, and edit and delete working orders.
It also features add stops and limits, including guaranteed stops; view watchlists; see open positions at a glance; and view real-time account balances.
IG Markets also supports BlackBerry devices, PDAs and other smartphones, such as those running on the Android operating system. The iPhone app is also compatible with Apple’s iPad, the company said.
IG Markets (UK) managing director Philip Adler said they launched the browser designed for the handset in 2009, but this latest move means existing and new clients alike can find IG Markets in the AppStore.
