Samsung has suspended a software update for its Galaxy S3 smartphones in the UK that updated users to version 4.3 of the Android operating system.
The S3 update from the Android 4.1 operating system was released for UK customers about two weeks ago. However, users reported several issues, for example, earlier than normal battery drain and failure in apps.
Samsung Mobile UK told the SamMobile UK that the company was investigating the matter.
"We are committed to providing customers with the best possible mobile experience, and will ensure to resume the upgrading service at the earliest possibility," the South Korean firm added.
Samsung GalaxyS3, launched in May 2012, initially ran on the Android 4 version and was later on updated to 4.1.
